It’s time you take a breather and allow nature to de-stress you.
I was born in Iba, Zambales and I can't help it to tell you how beautiful my province is. Aside from Zambales is known with the "sweetest mango", you will admire the crystallize beaches we have. My first vacation to San Antonio, Zambales was December 29, 2010. While others are in love with the waves and do surfing in Pundaquit, San Antonio, Zambales, I was amazed in the place I saw, the Anawangin Cove and the islands of Capones and Camara, one word, awesome!
Last June 12, 2015, I went back to San Antonio, Zambales, and the feeling that i felt last December 2010 and June 2015 is the same, I was really amazed!
We booked for an overnight at Canoe Beach Resort, the same resort I stayed in 2010. Visit their website http://canoebeachresort.net/ for the rates, reservations and inquiries.
Travel more and be whisked away to a place where only the sea breeze and the rustling pine trees will be the sounds you hear!
Delight your senses with a relaxing sweep of the lush greenery of the surroundings. Soak in the comforting effect of a brief communion with nature that only Zambales’ Anawangin Cove can provide!
Sun-kissed Nose!
Capones Island has pure white pine sands and blue green water!
Perfect Tans!
Do bring your goggles and snorkeling gear as the waters in Camara Island should be seen from within. Tons of seaweeds just near the shore and it feels creeps when lingering on your legs while swimming so better see in the waters to snorkel and enjoy. White sands, lavish beach and grand rock formations never fail to mesmerize!
Sandy Toes!
Tranquil ambiance at Anawangin Cove!
White sandy shores of Capones Island!
Pristine blue waters of Camara Island!
How to commute:
Take Victory Liner Bus, tell the conductor drop you at the municipal hall of San Antonio, Zambales. There are tricycles that will bring you to Pundaquit. There are a lot of beach resorts in Pundaquit for your accommodation if you want to stay at the hotel or camp out at the cove. We stayed in Canoe Beach Resort, visit their website http://canoebeachresort.net/ for rates, reservation and inquiries.
With private car:
Take NLEX San Fernando Exit and follow the Gapan-Olongapo road, you will reach the town of San Antonio, Zambales, after the municipal hall on the right, turn left when you see the T.R Yangco Elementary School, until you reach the beaches and resorts of Pundaquit.
Hi all! Do some getaways and taste the provincial life! <3
